The discovery of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit in 1974 brought the important cultural heritage of Qin Shi Huang's tomb to the world. The site is supported by the mausoleum and is surrounded by more than 300 burial pits of various kinds, forming a rich and complete system of imperial tombs and providing a solid foundation for future generations to study imperial tombs.
