Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ Khangchendzonga National Park Immovable Culture Heritage Khangchendzonga National Park, in the Indian state of Sikkim, is a rare and rich mixed cultural and natural heritage site which is tangible and immovable. The park is named after the Khangchendzonga peak, the world's third highest peak, and covers an area of more than 850 square kilometres. It is home to a diverse range of flora and animals, including some endangered species, as well as numerous glaciers and alpine meadows. The park is also culturally significant to the locals, who believe that the Khangchendzonga mountain is the home of their guardian deity. Many religious rituals and ceremonies are held at the park in reverence of this deity, and the park is regarded as sacred by the local communities.
