<dc:description>The Beijing Palace Museum is a world-famous museum in China, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The climate of Beijing, where it is located, is warm-temperate and semi-humid, with four distinct seasons and large temperature differences, with an average annual temperature of about 12 degrees Celsius. Spring is dry and sandy, summer is hot and humid, autumn is dry and pleasant, and winter is cold and snowless. Climate change may also have an impact when it comes to the conservation and maintenance of the Palace Museum in Beijing. A warmer climate may lead to more severe heat and humidity in the summer, thereby increasing the risk of decay and metal corrosion of the wooden structures. In addition, a dry and windy spring may also lead to the accumulation of dust and sand, making conservation and maintenance of cultural relics difficult. At the same time, Beijing is also one of the more prominent cities in China in terms of environmental issues, and urbanization and industrialization may also have an impact on the conservation and maintenance of the Forbidden City in terms of air pollution and water pollution.</dc:description>
