<dc:title>Cinque Terre</dc:title>
<dc:subject>Immovable Culture Heritage,Tourism</dc:subject>
<dc:description>The five villages of the Cinque Terre are spread out along the rugged coastline, with ancient stone walls supporting the villages and the surrounding terraces, which together with the traditional farming methods reflect the region's centuries-old harmony with the natural environment. In addition, the villages are connected to each other by footpaths, while maintaining traditional Ligurian architecture, providing a rich cultural experience and visual treat for the visitor. As a result, Cinque Terre is not only a major tourist attraction in Italy, but also one of the most important cultural heritages in the world.
The conservation of the Cinque Terre as a cultural heritage site helps to maintain traditional architectural styles and farming methods, which not only preserve the historical and cultural identity of the area, but also enhance the visitor experience and contribute to the local economy. This corresponds to SDG 11.4: Strive for the protection and conservation of the world cultural and natural heritage.</dc:description>
