It is considered one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world. In December 1978, the Terracotta Warriors were inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Terracotta Warriors were made for the tomb of Qin Shi Huang, China's first emperor. The aim of creating them is to guard the safety and peace of tomb. There are thousands of elaborate life-size models of the terracotta warriors representing qin Shi Huang's massive army.
