The Standing Stones of Stenness were thought to be smaller (twelve stones in total) than the Ring of Brogdar and there are more than twelve stones in the sketch. The Ring of Brogdar is close in location to the standing stones of Stenness. The creator of the sketch has written "Druidical stones" on the sketch, indicating that the creator may have believed that the stones were used for druidical worship. Estimated 1807.
