The Olympic National Park is located in the United States of America in the state of Washington. The park has four different types of areas and they are, the pacific coastline, temperate rainforest, alpine areas and the forest on the east side of the national park. Currently the park covers 933,650 acres or 3,733.8 km2. The park came a national park in 1938 after President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed it into law and its name became the Olympic National Park as we know it today. In1976 UNESCO designated it as an International Biosphere Reserve due to its unique ecosystem and in 1981 it was designated a UNESCO world heritage site. Currently the park is one the most visited National parks in America
