Welcome to our digital exhibition, “Impact of Climate Change on Classical Gardens of Suzhou” an interactive educational project that integrates the latest technology with the preservation of historical heritage. This exhibition, using D3.js technology to create a visual map, shows the public the potential threats global climate change poses to these precious gardens.

Exhibition Features:

Interactive Map: Users can adjust data sliders for global temperature rise or sea level rise, and observe in real-time the risks the gardens may face under different climate scenarios. The map will display the gardens in blue or gray to indicate whether they are at risk of being submerged.
Detailed Information Panel: By clicking on any garden on the map, a panel on the left side of the page will display the garden’s name, elevation, a brief introduction, and related pictures.
Education and Engagement: This exhibition not only raises public awareness about the urgency of climate change but also calls for action to protect our cultural heritage.
