In addition to traditional text and image displays, the project offers interactive exhibits and virtual tours that allow visitors to experience the historical life of the orphanage in a more intuitive way.

Human-centered design:

The project not only recreates the buildings and objects, but more importantly shows the lives and emotions of the people in the orphanage at the time through stories, interviews and community engagement.

Colored Orphan Asylum’s digital reconstruction project is a dynamic and forward-looking experiment. It is not only a profound review of the past, but also a cultural dialog across time and space.
